Description
Hare Stroll original felted picture reminds me of illustrations from old fairytale books that were read to me as a child. It features 2 hares meeting at the beginning of a fir tree forest. The colours are earthy and the piece shimmers with silks and sparkly fibres giving it a majestic quality.
The piece is stitched onto high quality and acid free white mount board and is signed by me in pencil at the bottom. The image on this listing is watermarked, but that will not be on your piece. The piece of mountboard is approximately 40 x 65 cm and the original piece is approximately 30 x 50 cm.
I wet felted the background with merino wool and silk fibres and then needle felted the hares into the foreground.
