Flower Outbreak original artwork is an explosion of flowers blooming in mid July with colourful poppies, heleniums, crocosmia, daisies and more!

This is a large felted pieces sewn onto a piece of mount board that measures 75 x 75cm. The piece itself is about 60 x 60 cm and is signed in pencil underneath the image. It will not have the watermark on it.  I felted this piece in January of 2021 when we were all desperate for some colour in our lives. It is inspired by the photos I took last July in friend’s gardens.

It is made from a mix of Merino wool, curly wool and silk fibres. It is full of texture and you can definitely get lost looking into it.
