Sun Worshipers giclée print measures 58 cm by 36 cm. My felted art has been professionally photographed and printed on to 310gsm acid free watercolour paper using Epsom ultrachrome archival inks. I have had it professionally mounted with an acid free backboard which makes it ready to frame. A garden exploding with colour! All these flowers worshipping the June sun so they can grow and bloom.
This piece features some of my favourite colours/flowers and since becoming a first time gardener during lockdown I now have a lot of these growing in my garden too. It is inspired by my monthly visit to Barnsdale Gardens in Rutland. I spent hours taking photos of all the flowers and plants in the garden and spent the rest of the day creating the background for this piece. Over the following weeks I needle felted flowers from my photographs onto the background.
The original of “Sun Worshipers” is almost a metre long but I decided to order prints half the size so that they could fit easily with your decor. The texture of the wool photographs so well that it almost looks like the original.
The final image with the watermark is the piece you will receive, the other photos show close ups of the print. Your piece will not include the watermark.
