Needle Felted Tree Bag Kit is a perfect starter pack for someone who wants to learn how to needle felt.  It includes all the materials you need to add little dots of colour to the tree bag. The instructions show you how to add flowers and birds to your tree too. It is a great kit to do on your lap in front of the fire or on the train. There is plenty of wool included and it is available in three different colourways: Disco, Spring & Autumn.

The tree bag is screen printed with my original design. It has short handles and is made of the Natural cotton tote bag. The bags can be washed inside out and the design will continue to felt the more you wash it.

Needle Felted Tree Bag Kit includes 25 grams of Merino wool, 2 felting needles, a piece of foam, printed tree bag and full colour instructions (plus link to how to video on YouTube).

Disco Colours: turquoise, hot pink, lime green, yellow, orange, purple, black & white

Spring Colours: grass green, emerald green, pink, yellow, white, black & orange

Autumn: red, orange, yellow, light brown, chocolate brown, magenta, black and white

It takes about 2-3 hours to complete but some people have told me they spent a day on it because they became so engrossed! The merino wool colours can be mixed with each other and create new swirly colours. Plus I’ve added in a pinch of sparkle so that your bag can shine in the sun! The instructions include how to needle felt birds and flowers so you can add more to the bottom of the tree too!

This is the first felting workshops I taught in 2011 in my local village church. There were 35 attendees and I had hand printed all of the bags using my own lino cut stamp. It was a huge success! The next year I decided to take those kits with me to the Country Living Fair in London to sell. I sold lots and people sent me photos of their makes from all over the UK.  While not stamped by hand anymore, the tree design is almost the same as my first tree lino stamp that I cut in 2009. The book bags are the newest design that I started selling when I went on TV to sell my kits on Hochanda about 4 years ago.
