Description

King of Hearts Original Artwork features a quirky peacock in vibrant shades of turquoise, emerald, mustard and deep purple.  He is wet felted with free motion stitched details which give him more of a 3D look. The piece is approximately 33 x 33 cm and is stitched onto a 58 x 58 cm mountboard.

I wet felted him using a mix of merino wool and silk fibres. Once he was felted I used my sewing machine to stitch the texture into his feathers and make his face and eye become more 3D.  I have signed and dated the bottom corner of the piece and the watermark will not be there. It can be shipped flat or be picked up from my home in South Lincolnshire.
