Fox Portrait Framed Original Artwork
Please contact me to purchase because this piece is framed.
In December 2021 I decided to take on the challenge of creating a series of 5 detailed animal portraits for a Wildlife Exhibition in March 2022. I started with this fox and spent a couple of weeks perfecting him. He is made from a variety of wool and silk fibres. He has been wet and needle felted. When choosing the frame, I decided I wanted him to appear to be peering out rather than a floating head. So I chose a natural wood frame and his neck disappears behind the wood. The frame measures approximately 20 x 20 x 5 inches. I have included a couple images of him framed and unframed, but the ones with my framers name across them give you a could look at how he looks now.
The photo with the badger original also shows the giclée prints laying under the originals. I will be selling him in his custom box frame. I chose the natural wood so that it could be painted or stained to match your decor. The last photo shows me standing next to the fox, badger and hare portraits.
This art piece was on display at the Wildlife Exhibition at the Natural World Centre at Whisby Nature Park (near Lincoln) 28 February to 7 March.
