Shalini Austin and I will be in a gazebo outside of Riverside Beads in Market Deeping for 3 Saturdays this summer! We will have lots of new work to view and buy plus have felting and copper demonstrations.
Peterborough Artists’ Open Studios is celebrating it’s 21st year in 2021. This will be my 4th year participating.
From their website:
“For 3 weekends a year, the artists and craftspeople of the Peterborough area open their studios, homes or other venue to the public to showcase their work. Visitors are welcome to have a look round, talk to the artists and learn about the techniques and materials involved.
Entry to each venue is free. All the artists will have original work for sale and often have cards and prints available although there is of course absolutely no obligation to buy anything.
Some venues will offer refreshments, demonstrate techniques or open their gardens so check out the artist pages or the directory for more details.”
They have decided not to print a brochure this year, instead you can view it online, download it and print it at home if you’d like: 2021 Brochure (Clicking on this link will open a new window.) In the brochure Shalini is number 4 and I am number 52.
We have chosen to be outside in a gazebo to allow for better air flow, be accessible for people who aren’t comfortable going inside yet and our demonstrations are a bit loud and wet (lol). Riverside Beads is located at 83 High Street, Market Deeping. There is on-street parking along the High Street plus a couple parking lots in town. The shop is next to a nice little cafe and across the street from the Antiques and Crafts centre (I definitely recommend a visit there!). There is also an amazing fish and chips shop within walking distance. And of course, Riverside Beads is a lovely bead & craft shop. I teach a lot of workshops there and the selection of craft supplies is amazing!
We will be there 26 June, 3 and 10 July from 10am to 4pm. We look forward to seeing you!
