Winter Robin Original Artwork
This original is inspired by the winter foliage and berries. A little robin sits on a fir tree branch in the centre of a circle of red berries and mistletoe.
I used a mix of merino wool, silk fibres, yarns and wool curls to create the background. The berries, robin and branch were needle felted in the foreground.
I created this piece in 2021 to use as the design for my Christmas Cards and now I’ve decided to sell the original piece.
It is approximately 30 cm square and is stitched onto a piece of mount board that is 40cm square. It will be posted flat and wrapped in cellophane.
