Description
Oystercatcher Original Artwork features 3 oystercatcher birds looking for their breakfast. What character these sea birds have! I love their huge pink legs and long bright orange beaks. I have seen them often at the beach and love putting them into my ocean inspired artwork.
The background for this piece was made during a workshop that I taught earlier this year. It features sparkly fibres, silk and wool curls. Please note the first photo is from when I was in the process of making it and the second photo was taken once it had been wrapped in cellophane (sorry for the reflection on it).
The felted artwork is 11 x 19 cm and is stitched onto a piece of 20 x 29 mountboard.
