Lincoln: Wet and Needle Felted Hare Picture

3 April 10am-1pm at Indigo Crow Gallery 57 Burton Road Lincoln

Come along and learn how to wet felt a meadow picture using a mix of merino wool, curls and silk fibres.  You will spend the first hour choosing colours and layering up wool and textures to create your background. Then we will stick the fibres together using warm water, soap and agitation. The wet felting process takes about 20 minutes and requires a bit of rolling and rubbing the wool with your hands.

Once felted you will learn how to use a single felting needle to add a hare on to your meadow background.

The finished piece will be approximately a4 size

Once complete you could hang it on the wall, stitch it to a cushion or bag…you decide!

Please bring a small hand towel.
