Barnsdale Gardens: Wet Felted Seascape Workshop
Seascape Felted Picture Workshop 30 March 2-4pm in the studio at Barnsdale Gardens.
Learn how to create a felted seascape in an afternoon. The workshop will be just wet felting and is a great introduction to making felted pictures. Faff with fluff and learn how to layer Merino wool, silk fibres and other textures to create an ocean inspired artwork.
Seascape will be approximately A4 once felted. Once complete you could hang it on the wall, stitch it to a cushion or bag… you decide!
Please bring a small hand towel. All other materials will be supplied.
£35 will include all materials & instructions
This workshop is limited to 8 students, which allows for plenty of space between.
Please note there are no loos in the studio. The loos are located in a small building in the middle of the carpark, so please bring appropriate clothing if it’s raining or snowing.
These workshops are achievable by all ages and abilities.
Each students work will be completely unique with the colours they choose. The finished piece will be approximately A4 sized.
I will bring most of the materials with me, please bring a small hand towel.
Possible allergies: We will be using 100% wool and fairy liquid soap. If you are allergic to wool then this is not the class for you. If you are allergic to fairy liquid, please bring gloves.
Barnsdale Gardens LE15 8AH When you enter the car park, you’ll drive past the shop on the left and cafe on the right. Keep following the wooden fence around the car park and the studio is accessible through the back gate.
