Winter Wonderland Felted Picture Workshop

Play with beautiful Merino wool, sparkles and silk fibres to create a serene winter wonderland background. We will wet felt the background together in the morning using warm soapy water and agitation.

In the afternoon follow step by step instructions to needle felt a sleeping fox, a hare or an owl sitting in the tree. You will have enough time to add at least one of the animals to your picture.

There will be a 45 min break in the middle of the day for lunch. You may bring a packed lunch or order one from the onsite café.

I will bring most of the materials with me, please bring a small hand towel. If you’d like you can bring an apron to protect your clothes from the soapy water, and rubber gloves (for touching hot water) but these are not mandatory.

Possible allergies: We will be using 100% wool and fairy liquid soap. If you are allergic to wool then this is not the class for you. If you are allergic to fairy liquid, please bring gloves.

Workshop will be held in the garden studio at Barnsdale Gardens LE15 8AH. Studio can be accessed through the back gate in the carpark.
