Barnsdale Gardens: Seascape with Heron Felted Picture Workshop

Learn how to layer colourful merino wool, silk fibres and wool curls to create a wet felted seascape picture first then I will show you how to easily needle a heron on top of the piece. Finish with some felted pebbles or needle felted shells.

Finished pieces are approximately A4

All materials will be supplied, feel free to bring a small towel or apron if you would like.

The workshop is 10am-1 pm and will be held in the studio at the back of the gardens. This is accessible from the carpark. Garden admission is not needed to come into the studio.

This workshop is limited to 8 students, which allows for plenty of space between.

Please note there are no loos in the studio. The loos are located in a small building in the middle of the carpark, so please bring appropriate clothing if it’s raining or snowing.
