Burton Latimer: Felted Woodland Picture

Learn layer Merino wool roving and silk fibres to create a background and the cut your own trees to create a forest. The techniques are easy for anyone to follow. This course will focus on creating depth and realism in your art.

With a bit of hot water and soap we will agitate the fibres using our hands so the wool sticks together (felts), then we will roll them to make them shrink a bit to make them strong.
