The petals of irises have always caught my attention in late spring. The large purplish-blue petals reaching in all directions with golden yellows pulling you into the centre of them.<\/p>\n<p>This piece is thicker than my usual work with lots of layers of merino wool and silk fibres creating a relief sculpture rather than just a wool painting.<\/p>\n<p>Artwork is 40 x 16 x 1.5 cm and is stitched onto a piece of mount board that is larger.<\/p>\n<p>Unframed: \u00a3200<\/p>\n<p>FREE TRACKED POSTAGE TO Britain, International orders no more than \u00a350 for tracked postage.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Iris Original Artwork This piece features one of my favourite flowers in bloom.
