This bed has lilies about to bloom, roses, poppies and more!<\/p>\n<p>I felted this piece in April 2023 and was inspired by the deep yellow and purple wools that I have collected. From there I added a salmon pink and olive green and started adding in flower shapes. Once I had wet felted it, I started needle felting centres into the flowers, seed heads and foliage.<\/p>\n<p>This is a large felted piece is approximately 16 inches square and is stitched onto a piece of mount board that is larger. It is signed in pencil underneath the image.<\/p>\n<p>It is wet and needle felted using a mix of Merino wool, curly wool and silk fibres.
