Felted original artwork of a realistic badger. I created this piece by layering lots of colourful merino and shetland wool. Those layers were wet felted together and then I added needle felted details like the eyes and nose.<\/p>\n

In December 2021 I decided to take on the challenge of creating a series of 5 detailed animal portraits for a Wildlife Exhibition in March 2022. I started with the fox,\u00a0 then a hare and then this badger. He is made from a variety of wool and silk fibres. He has been wet and needle felted.<\/p>\n
This original piece is stitched onto a piece of mount board that is 50cm square. It is signed in the bottom right corner by me.<\/p>\n
Professionally framed in black box frame with ArtGlass. Collection only from South Lincolnshire<\/p>\n
