Wool Bundle: Brown Hare

Description

Wool Bundle: Brown Hare choose whether you would like 100 grams, 250 grams or 500 grams. This is a special selection of wool that is handpicked by me. I use these wools when I am needle felting a hare.

In this bundle you will receive:

• 60% brown Shetland wool: for sculpting your hare
• 35% Carded batts of brown & dark brown Shetland and white Cheviot wool for adding his fluffy fur
• 5% Merino wool and mixed wool for details like eyes and inner ears

Brown Shetland wool has been a favourite of mine for the past 10 years. I love it because it is so natural and earthy looking. I think it is the perfect colour to make mice, hares and bears with. 100 grams will allow you create a small hare about 5 inches tall depending on your technique.

I recommend starting with a 36 needle to sculpt your hare and then swapping to a 38 to add detail and his fur coat.
