The Odd Bird Tree II glass worktop saver is a unique useable art piece for your kitchen. It features a quirky assortment of birds all meeting at a large colourful tree. The worktop saver measures 39 cm x 28 cm and is made from toughened glass. The underside has four plastic feet.

This unique glass chopping board features some odd birds like a flying flamingo, a penguin, a puffin, barn owl, blue footed booby, pelican and more… how many can you see?

My felted artwork has been professionally photographed. Then the image has been printed with high quality inks which will not crack, rub or peel away. It is printed using high quality sublimation equipment which produces a high-quality scratch and fade resistant piece. Please hand wash only.

The original of the Odd Bird Tree II I created at the beginning of lockdown. Sometimes I create very realistic pieces that all make sense and sometimes I create pieces from the wacky side of my brain. The first Odd Bird Tree flew off to it’s new home a couple years ago so I thought maybe it was time to create another. It was made out of wools and silk fibres that were wet felted together. Then I needle felted each bird onto and around the tree, they took about 1-4 hours each.
