Easter Egg Felting Supplies includes a selection of carded & merino wool, 4 x felting needles, polystyrene eggs, and an info sheet about how to needle felt onto polystyrene. You will also receive a link to the how to video on YouTube.
You will also need a piece of foam/sponge or an old cushion to work upon. Rubber or leather thimbles are also great to wear to protect your other fingers.
I do not recommend this kit for children because it is so easy to break the felting needles and poke your finger. If your child would like to try needle felting I recommend my tree bag kit to get used to the tools before moving on to 3D felting.
All Supply Kit includes:
5 polystyrene eggs 70mm high
25 grams of wool in various colours so that you can make the multi -coloured egg, a chick, floral egg and bunny.
4 felting needles
Selection of textures and tapestry wool
Instructional Video will be available to watch on my YouTube channel
I started needle felting on to polystyrene 9 years ago and I think I was one of the first needle felting teachers in England to use it in my workshops. I introduced my first felting kits using polystyrene at the Country Living Fair in London in 2012. It is a great way to learn how to use the felting needles without worrying about how to sculpt a shape. It is an instant-gratification of needle felting and similar to a colouring book where you are filling in colours and not worrying about designs.
