Buddleia Original Artwork reminds me of summer when the buddleia’s are in full bloom and they are covered with butterflies.
I was inspired to make this piece after watching and photographing the buddleia in my mums garden over the past 10 years. It blooms more every year and I love seeing all the different types of butterflies that land on it. This piece is covered with green and pink shiny wool and silk threads. The buddleia blooms are a mix of pink and purples. There are 3 butterflies landing on the flowers.
The piece is 36 x 22 cm and is stitched onto a piece of mountboard that is 51 x 38cm.
