Learn how to combine Mawata Silk Hankies with Merino wool to create colourful wings for a butterfly and dragonfly. The bodies of the insects will be wet felted with either needle felted or beaded detail. A great class for beginners and pieces can be turned into brooches or hair clips.

Learn how to wet felt a bowl or purse using a resist and merino wool.
Create your own seamless handbag during this day course. First learn how to create your own pre felt to use in your bag design. Then learn to felt around a resist to create a one of a kind handbag to use. Bag design is up to you could have straps or an integrated handle. Bag will be felted using a mix of Merino wool and other fibre add-ins. Once the piece has been felted add needle felted embellishments to finish it off. This class is an intermediate class and is recommended for students who have some experience wet felting. All materials supplied but please bring an apron because we get quite wet and soapy. All materials can be bought at the end of the class if you want to continue at home.
