All materials will be supplied and can be bought at the end of the class if you want to continue at home.

Learn to create your own felted framed masterpiece. Using Merino wool plus a whole bunch of extras: silk threads, silk hankies, wool nepps, etc, you will learn how to wet felt a background for your picture. Then learn how to needle felt onto it to create the foreground. A 9×9 box frame is included in the materials so that you can frame the piece. Sunday classes with Eve Marshall are limited to just 6 students so that you receive more attention and are able to learn more about felting and techniques in a small group setting. Hot and cold drinks plus a slice of homemade cake are included in this class.

I will be teaching 2 workshops during the Wolds Words Festival in 2016, this one is the first. Learn how to make a needle felted wreath (for any season, you choose) using Merino and Shetland Wool. Robin and Snowman techniques will also be taught.
Learn to create a Wet & Needle Felted Landscape Picture using a mix of Merino wool, silks, sparkle and other fibres. All instruction and materials included plus a 6×6 frame to put your work in at the end.

This workshop is designed for people who would like to learn wet felting techniques by playing with lots of different textures and techniques. I teach the instant gratification of felting which makes this all day workshop mostly about being creative with many different types of materials and a little bit about felting them together. Create a background with many layers of colourful Merino wool, silks, leaves, threads and more. Felt the piece into a large square or rectangle and then learn needle felting techniques to add small details.
Bring pictures for inspiration if you would like but I will have lots to inspire you. This class will include a printed sheet with instructions on how to make more at home plus supplies will be available to purchase after the workshop for discounted prices.
