Barnsdale Gardens: Panoramic Wildflower Meadow Felted Picture
Barnsdale Gardens: Panoramic Wildflower Meadow Felted Picture 12 August 10:30am – 4:00pm
In this full day workshop we will be creating a large panoramic felted picture of a meadow filled with wildflowers, grasses and wildlife. This class will focus on using textures in your wet felting plus adding small needle felted details to create recognisable flowers and wildlife. You will be able to create a piece that is approximately 70 x 30 cm.
Once complete you could hang it on the wall, stitch it to a cushion or bag…you decide!
Please bring an apron, rubber gloves (for touching hot water) and small hand towel. All other materials will be supplied.
The workshop is 10:30am-4pm and will be held in the studio at the back of the gardens. This is accessible from the carpark. Garden admission is not needed to come into the studio.
There will be a lunch break from 12:30-1:20 where you may eat in the cafe onsite or bring your own packed lunch.
£50 will include all materials & instructions
This workshop is limited to 6 students, which allows for plenty of space between. This workshop will not be cancelled due to low attendance.
Please note there are no loos in the studio. The loos are located in a small building in the middle of the carpark, so please bring appropriate clothing if it’s raining or snowing.
