A creative space at Barnsdale

Join me for a creative space to work in at Barnsdale Gardens. Click here to book your space: https://evemarshall.co.uk/shop/product/a-creative-space-session-at-barnsdale-gardens/

As an artist I love working in the studio and thought I would share it as a space that people can be creative in too.  I hear from a lot of my students, they don’t have a space to be creative in at home.  I agree, it’s nice to leave the house and have a large space to work in!

The studio is located in the gardens at Barnsdale Gardens, there is a cafe on site which is perfect for a cuppa in the morning and lunch midday.

Come and spend the day with me creating whatever you’d like! This is not a workshop, but rather a workspace to share with a few other crafty people just like you! You will need to bring all your own supplies with you for felting including towels, bubble wrap and wool. I can lend you these but it will be a small extra fee and wool can be ordered from my website prior to the day. The workshop has a sink and kettle, lots of tables and chairs. I will keep the windows open but some of the radiators will stay on to keep us warm.

The fee pays a space in the studio. Each person will have approximately 2 x 3 meters with tables and chairs. I will be limiting each of the creative space days to myself and 2 other people so that we each have lots of space to move around.

You can decide your schedule. Barnsdale Gardens is open 10am-4pm daily. I usually start with a cuppa at 10 in the cafe, a couple hours work in the studio, lunch at 12:30 and more studio time until 4, then pack up and go home.

The fee does not include entrance to the gardens (you don’t have to pay entrance to use the studio space and is only important if you want to look around the gardens).  You may bring your own lunch and eat it in the studio or buy lunch in the cafe.

Please note: Parking is free and you can usually get a space right behind the studio. There are not loos in the studio, but rather in a building in the middle of the car park (so bring a raincoat/umbrella if it’s wet outside).
